The Annual General Meeting. A special evening for everyone in the club, this is your chance to fully understand the past/present club situation, and of course be influential in changing our future. We will have IAM's Robbie Downing as our guest speaker, and we may even have some nibbles!!!

This is an approximate 190 mile rideout overall, with a view to spend some time actually in the museum (entrance fee £14.50), return time to suit the majority.

Event Time: 10:00-16:00, What: Prescott Bike Festival (map)
We will have our usual presence at the Prescott Bike Festival, pitching our tent and advertising our wares. We might even be able to offer a cup of coffee or tea and a cake. Please contact any of the committee if you'd like to be involved, and if you're going to be there pop along to the tent and say hello. We will have various iron work on display, courtesy of members: BMW 1600, Blade, Monkey Bike, TRX850, KTM ADV, Duke, Honda 550 Four, and last but not least a Fatboy (yep, a Hog). You can't miss it, there'll be a huge IAM flag up (as well as the bikes).

Justin Walkley from BG Products will be showcasing their latest Powerpack 2 & 3 fuel additive product that enhances overall performance and efficiency of engines...useful for those who do not ride BMWs! (because BMWs aren't worth improving? Ed).

This is an approximate 160 mile rideout, with a breakfast stop at The Steel Horse cafe before Blaenavon. The likely return time is ~4.00pm.
Wednesday 26 April
Rideout When: 10:00-13:00, Where to: Severn Valley, Leader: TBD, Meet at: Seven Springs (map)
We start at Seven Springs Layby and finish at Gupshill Manor for lunch / coffee. The route will take us across Minchinhampton Common, down into the Severn Valley for views along the banks of the river south of Gloucester. It will then return onto the escarpment before dropping down again into the valley north of Gloucester. Further views and river crossings before finally arriving at the Gupshill. Total Distance is 70 miles on a mixture of major and minor roads. This ride is suitable for both full members and associates.

A rideout to The Ship Inn at Burcombe - Moon Raker Country - by the very competent Sarah Juniper. Please arrive for a 9.15am brief, leaving at 9.30am. There will be coffee stops at Marlborough (out) and Chippenham (return). GPX files available from Sarah if required.

Note it's a Saturday, to Weymouth for a bit of early sea side. Also note the 7.30am start, and likely 7.00pm return. Led by the inimitable GKB. Please note this will need to be a dry day!
Wednesday 10 May

A great route that includes lovely countryside, a variety of road types, but all on tarmac. Lots of twisties and some hairpins - this ride lends itself to progressive riding. Steve Harley, leading, won't take the credit for finding the route, that's down to Bob Holdsworth, who did the route with recently. It will be 120 miles from Gloucester back to Gloucester. We will be stopping at the Brigsty Café at around midday for nosebag, they do a nice all day breakfast amongst other things. We'll stop there for about an hour. Then further twisties until around 2:45 pm where we'll stop near Ledbury for a cuppa and possibly cake? Stop for as long as we like there and then head to our respective home destinations, probably back to Gloucester by 4:30 pm. All times are approximate and subject to how we feel on the day. Full tanks and empty bladders (to start with) please.

The Jolly Nice Caf´ is near Frampton Mansell. This is a ride of approximately 90 miles in total, the route will follow part of the A40 east and then a cross country route to the café on the A419. Excellent food and drinks are available and ample parking. Please aim to arrive around 10:15 (with a full tank and empty bladder) to attend the pre-ride briefing before the start at 10:30. Please be at the Teddington Hands fuel Station for 8.20am, for an 8.30am departure. A/B road cross country route to breakfast stop at Lutterworth (60 miles). 3/4 hour stop, then onto Whitwell for a lunch stop with option of 3/4 hour cruise on Rutland Water ( 42 miles). Depart Whitwell at 2pm - refuel stop at Uppingham (12 miles). Then more twisty B roads toward home, coffee stop in Daventry (34 miles). Final leg toward Teddington Hands for stop before separating for home (57 miles). The mileage will be approximately 21 miles.

Please arrive by 10.15 for briefing for setting off at 10:30. The route will go through the Forest of Dean towards Monmouth and then onto Chepstow and Usk stopping at the Steelhorse café near Abergavenny for brunch. Return via Skenfrith, Ross on Wye and Newent by early afternoon - a total distance of ~100 miles.

A rare opportunity to ride the famous old Nürburgring circuit for 2 days with expert instructors. This is purely a bike only course, no other vehicles are on the circuit with you.
